How does the
system work?
A
simple to use spray system is used to apply the solution. DHA is the active
ingredient. This naturally occurring sugar is the active ingredient in
virtually every sunless tanning product. DHA is and has been FDA approved
for several decades. The DHA reacts with the skins own amino acids to produce
the rich, healthy tan. More Info....
Is
it safe?
Sunless
tanning is a safe and proven method of obtaining a tan. The client is not
exposed to any harmful UVA or UVB rays, which can damage the skin. As with
any personal product, sensitivity can occur but is very rare. The active
ingredient DHA is found in virtually all-tanning products and has been
used since the 1960's.
What
about allergic reactions to chemicals used in the solution?
There
are none. All of the components in our tanning solution have been used
in cosmetics and food products for decades. These components are approved
for use on the skin and are considered safe.
I
freckle in the sun. Will tanning cause freckles?
No.
There is nothing in our tanning solution that will cause more freckles
to occur. In fact, in most cases, freckles and blemishes will become less
pronounced because the lighter skin or less pigmentation areas are darkened
to help darken and blend skin color more evenly.
How
long does it take for a treatment?
Full
body treatments take about 10-15 minutes. The solution dries in about 5
minutes.
How
long does the tan last?
Depending
on the skin type, a tan will last 6 to 10 days depending on your skin type.
Like a suntan, the sunless tan will fade gradually until your next application.
Please keep in mind that the lighter your skin color, the shorter it will
last. Mortising is the KEY!
Will
the user get a better tan if they tan twice in the same day?
No,
tanning back to back does not give the DHA a chance to set between tans.
Is
this like tanning dyes?
This
is not a skin dye. Our system eliminates all the mess and problems associated
with tanning creams. There is no streaky mess, orange palms, or dirty knees
and elbows.
Does
it turn the skin orange?
No!
In the past, self-tanners gave many individuals an unnatural orange glow
and caused streaking. Most of these undesirable results were caused by
improper or ineffective application techniques. Applying creams and lotions
by hand usually results in excessive amounts being absorbed in the skin.
Excessive amounts applied in a single application can give an orange glow
to the skin. Unnatural dark spots may also appear in dry or thick-skinned
areas such as elbows, knees, and knuckles because these areas have a tendency
to absorb more of the cream.
What
about people with fair skin that has never been able to tan?
Our
system is perfect for individuals who can't or don't want to tan conventionally.
We have varied levels of active ingredients in different solutions to customize
the results. Please keep in mind that the lighter your skin color, the
shorter it will last. People that NEVER tan will now be able to have
a nice color for about 5 to 6 days.
Do
people with hair on their legs/arms, develop an uneven tan where hair is
present?
No.
The mist can penetrate past the hair to achieve the same even result, our
training shows how to address this through technique.
How
soon after the tanning session can the user shower?
We
recommend that the user wait at least 6 hours after tanning to give the
DHA enough time to fully set. 8 to 12 hours is better. If you shower earlier,
it will diminish the intensity of the tan. When you do shower, the initial
tan created by the water-soluble bronzer will wash off, but the DHA will
remain and create a long-term tan.
What
happens if the mist gets into the eyes?
We
suggest keeping the eyes closed during the misting process. However, there
is nothing in the mist that is harmful to the eyes in any way.
How
many times does a person need to Tan to achieve the color they want?
A
person will be tan after one session, but they may want an additional session
to achieve a deeper shade of bronze. Once they reach the desired color
they should be able to maintain it by tanning once a week. Click

Will
it make the user feel sticky like lotions do?
No,
but you will be aware of the application during the first hour while the
product sets and activates. After that, your skin will feel as your own
and not sticky. The active ingredient is DHA is a natural sugar compound.
And, remember the spray is a gentle mist. Once the client dries, their
skin will feel soft and healthy.
Do
you need to cover hair during use?
No.
The solution will not color hair.
Is
the application wet?
The
mist applied is very fine. Think of it like the moisture of a foggy day.
By the time the application is over most of the mist will have dried, but
there may still be a few moist areas. These areas are quickly dried and
you can dress in about 5 minutes.
When
can I shower?
Wait
at least 8 hours, however, longer is better! The reality is that you
have an active bronzing occurring. The full bronzing will continue in about
24 hours but the most active bronzing time occurs about 8 hours from application
time. There is not a magical exact minute where you are "done" because
you are dealing with individual skin that has many variables. If you decide
to shower very quickly, you are only blunting the full development of the
tan (in essence cheating yourself). Again, longer is better. If you spray
later in the day, wait until the next morning to shower.
Can
I exercise after my tanning session?
You
should exercise and shower before and not after your tanning session. If
you perspire before the tanning agent sets (about 6 hours) you will run
the risk of streaking. We also recommend in the summer time you use
your air conditioner to keep cool when the agent is drying.
What
is your recommendation for prolonging my tan?
The
best recommendation is the using the Exfoliator and Tan Extending moisturizer.
A full body application every 5 days may also be done if you want to bump
it up a bit. Be sure to exfoliate well before any new application.
How
often can I come back to get their base tan?
You
can return in 2 to 3 days day for another application and then once a week
for maintenance.
As
the tan decreases will it wear off onto your clothes?
There
may be some slight visible color as the tan fades in "friction" areas were
the skin is naturally exfoliating. This will wash out and will not stain
clothing.
Does
the spraying stain people's bathing suits?
Yes.
Tanning in the nude is recommended for the best tan and the most bang for
your buck. If you must wear a bathing suite, choose one that is dark
in color and you do not need anymore. We also have disposable garments
available. You comfort is our main concern! You tan the
way you feel most comfortable. |
